Janeer is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data is collected when you visit the site and how it is used. The short version: your tool input stays on your device, and we use privacy-first Cloudflare Web Analytics — no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no personal data collected.

How the Tools Work

Every tool on Janeer runs entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. The text, code, or data you enter into any tool is processed locally on your device. It is never transmitted to a Janeer server, stored in a database, or shared with any third party. When you close or navigate away from a tool page, your input is discarded by the browser.

Analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages are visited most often, how visitors arrive at the site, and what devices and browsers are used. This information helps improve the site's content and structure.

Cloudflare Web Analytics is privacy-first: it does not use cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not track users across sites. No personal information is collected. The aggregate data we see includes:

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • Referring website or search engine
  • General geographic location (country or city level, not precise location)
  • Browser type, operating system and screen resolution
  • Device category (desktop, tablet or mobile)

Cloudflare Web Analytics does not collect any text or data you enter into the tools. Your tool input is never included in analytics data.

Cookies

Janeer does not use cookies for tracking. The site stores one local-only preference:

  • Theme preference — a localStorage entry that remembers your light or dark mode selection. This data stays on your device and is never sent to any server.

Because Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless, no consent banner is required.

Hosting

This site is hosted on Cloudflare. As part of serving web pages, Cloudflare may automatically collect basic technical information such as IP addresses, browser type, and request timestamps in its standard access logs. This data is handled by Cloudflare in accordance with their own privacy policy and is not accessed or controlled by this site. Third-Party Services

Janeer does not use any third-party services that collect user data beyond what is described above. There are no ads, no social media trackers, no embedded third-party scripts, and no server-side data collection of your tool input.

Children's Privacy

Janeer does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The site does not require account creation or any personal data input.

Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
